Title: Invite him/her to Christ!

Devotion: Good morning, it's another weekend, what is the plan today? You probably want to rest from the rigour of the week. That is a very good idea because God wants you to rest from your labour and be in health.
 There's another work that cannot wait and must be done because nobody knows the date, time, when and where a soul might be lost eternally. We don't want to regret not winning such soul for Christ therefore the great commission must be carried out not minding the rain, sun or blizzard. 
 The work is easy, it can be done in many ways, physical, online such as this, on social media skits, one on one while strolling in the evening at the golf club, work place etc.
 An example is this: hi, I see you're really working hard, and getting little from it. Then suggest ways to improve his efficiency and ask him if he knows master Jesus can actually assist him to get rid of his losses and add to his life what he cannot achieve by toiling from morning till evening. In Matt 6:33 Jesus says seek ye first the kingdom of God and all (wealth, fame, health etc) shall be added on to you. The key words 1) seek ie give your life to Christ 2) all ie everything non believers pursue with vigour either rightly or crookedly 3) Shall be added to you without much sweat. Shall means must, cannot be changed and we know when God promises He keeps it. 
 Dearly beloved, I invite you to Christ this day, He eagerly waits for you knocking at your door, open your heart to him and say Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God I give my life to you, save me from my sinful life. Guide me with your Spirit to henceforth live right for you. Amen. If you pray conscientiously you will have peace of mind like never before. Join a Bible teaching church near you. Testimonies await you in Jesus name.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
