Title: Comfort One Another!

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 KJV
Devotion: There's a story of a woman who lost her son. She grieved so much that she cannot be consoled. An elderly neighbour would wake up in the morning and go to her and sit with her all day. She would just sit beside the grieving woman without uttering a word. 
After a short while the bereaved stopped grieving and started talking and returned to her normal life. The elderly lady was asked why she was just coming to sit all day without a word of comfort. Her response was all the bereaved needed was someone beside her and moreover "what will I say, not to grieve or that I understood how it pained her when I never experienced such a loss" 
 What I want us to learn is to comfort one another even when we don't know how to or what to say. Just sitting around is enough to comfort someone, (Isaiah 40:1  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.) itgives reassurance to the bereaved. May you and I never experience bereavement in Jesus name.
