Title: God Has His Eyes on You!

"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence." — Psalm 91:3

Devotion:
The moment you became born again, you became a child of God. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12). You became God's responsibility, and as such, He has eyes on you every moment of the day. “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers” (1 Peter 3:12). He is doing this to protect you from the snare of the fowler, which is the traps that the enemy and his cohort of darkness plan against you day and night.

God is keeping an eye on you to deliver you from them all. “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul” (Psalm 121:7). Noisome pestilence is an unpleasant, contagious, and infectious disease that causes many people to die. You will not be infected by it, because you are a child of God who lives in obedience, and God has His eyes on you. “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).

If you disobey God by indulgence in sexual immorality or drunkenness you will surely be infected by diseases or your liver may be destroyed. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). This is the reason you must obey God, then He will protect you from noisome pestilence. “Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling” (Psalm 91:9–10).

This should cause you to celebrate the Lord and to draw even closer to Him as you ask Him what He wants you to do for Him. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” (James 4:8). If He is doing all these great things for you, you should also do what He asks you to do—obey His laws so that your bond with Him will become stronger and stronger every day. “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Hallelujah! Share your thoughts here and feel free to share this with your contacts.
