Title: By Grace not through Works.

Devotion: I used to have a friend in the late 80s who was very upright, never cheated, did his work and fully earned his pay, did not permit slothfulness etc. In fact on the surface you would think he was a born again Christian but he was not. He was totally areligious. He would taunt us who professed our Christianity saying he would make heaven before us.
His believe was that he would earn heaven by work and not by grace through faith. He did not have faith so he could not access Grace.
 My dear reader I urge you this morning to take the free gift of faith that God deposited in you so that you will receive the greater part which is grace to become a child of God. Just like my friend above you cannot earn grace your can only receive grace through faith. Both are freely given.
Glory to God you received grace and have been saved, it is now your duty to introduce others to Jesus. Let them know that it will not cost them anything other than to have faith in God through Christ and grace will follow.
