Devotion: This prophecy about preparation came years before John the Baptist was born and to God's glory John fulfilled the prophecy. He was in the wilderness and preached about the coming Messiah Jesus Christ. 
 I call upon you today to give your life and accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour and to join a Bible teaching Church. Dear reader while waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ let's get ourselves ready by daily meditation in the word of God and daily commune with Him through Christ. With that we'll not sin but be able to live a life of obedience as Holy Spirit helps us. It is in doing this that we'll be confident, prepared and suitable to fulfill our roles as front-runner to the coming of Jesus Christ. 
We have been called and praise God we are a born again Christian. Now it is our turn to preach Christ to others and prepare them for the second coming of Christ. When we do this we are carrying out the great commission as instructed by our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt 28 vs19). We were saved so that we can save others. 
The question I'll like to ask you this day is are you ready for the role God has prepared you for. The harvest is plenty but there are few labourers it is your duty, my duty to let the world know that there's no salvation in any other name but in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us invite others to taste Jesus Christ today, He satisfys, and nobody can satisfy you better, your testimony is waiting for you. Love you, shalom. Halleluyah.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
