Devotion: Good day out there, I'm sure you are getting ready for Christmas, it is advent, a time for reflection, a time to increase your faith in God and also a time to take a bold step in the new year.

God told the Israelites to step into the Red sea boldly to cross a distance of about 12 kilometers. One can only imagine what went on in their hearts at that point in time. But they believed God and immediately their feet touched the waters it disappeared under their feet, the land became dry. (Exodus 14: 13-22)

 When you watch sky divers on YouTube you feel for them when they have to take a dive into the sky but they trust in their parachute. Maybe you are among the people planning to start a new business or relocate to another city or country and your heart beat has increased, I say relax God is in control because He will go with you, direct your footsteps. Are you planning to wed soon do not be afraid God is in control, He will not leave you nor forsake you.

 But there's something you must do to strengthen your faith - have a solid relationship with God through Christ. To do these read His word daily and communicate with God daily in prayers even as you prepare. Your mind must be focused on God that He can do what he promised then He will do it. Do not look back like Lot's wife(Genesis 19:26), do not rely on your strength or human beings it will lead to failure. Dathan and co wanted back in Egypt and perished in the wilderness (Numbers 16 1 to end).

 Dearly beloved, remember Unflinching Faith is the key word, take the step and don't forget to share your testimonies with us here.

Testimony: Our topic 2 days ago says Wait on the Lord, a woman after the first child endured 6 years waiting on the Lord and she was blessed with a child her heart desired. Hallelujah.
