Title: Joyful Praise!
O clap your hands, all ye people; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
Psalm 47:1 KJV

Devotion: God inhabits our praises, He does not eat nor drink and has no needs that He cannot provide for Himself. God does not need our monies, properties or anything other than praises. All God demands from us is our praises and some people are so stingy they cannot give God praises. In several verses in the Bible we are urged to praise God. In psalm 100 vs 1, the psalmist says "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands."
Few years back I was totally down, out of job, yes out of job the first thing i did was to dance and sing praises to the Lord of my salvation, my provider, Redeemer, helper, hope, defender, and lifter up of my head. Hallelujah. Till now I don't know why I did that but I know it relieved my tension and I had joy in my heart.
No matter the situation when happy praise God, unhappy? Praise God, down and out, praise God, wherever you meet yourself in the spectrum of live, praise God. We have a saying that I'm am better than 200 people and another 200 are better than me. So when you look back remember not all who started the year with you are alive today, so praise God, clap your hands, shout out to God.
Your praises make God happy and ready to do more, praiseful hearts are healthy and live longer.

Give unto the Lord the glory. Ps. 29:2
1 f To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life atonement for sin,
And opened the Life Gate that all may go in.
ff Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son;
And give Him the glory! Great things,
He hath done!
2 f O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
3. f Great things He hath taught us, great things
He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.
Amen.
