Title: Rock of Our Salvation.
Scripture focus:
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer” Psalm 18:2 KJV.
Foundation in Christ- Throughout Scripture, Jesus is described as the Rock — firm, unshakable, and eternal. David declared, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer” (Psalm 18:2). Unlike shifting sands of human wisdom or worldly security, Christ is the immovable foundation upon which our faith stands.
The Cornerstone of Faith:
The Apostle Paul reminds us, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). He is the cornerstone, holding together the structure of our salvation. Without Him, life collapses under the weight of sin and condemnation.
Assurance of Salvation:
Peter boldly proclaimed, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Christ alone is the rock of salvation — the one who bore our sins, conquered death, and offers eternal life to all who believe.
Invitation to Stand on the Rock:
Friend, the storms of life will come, but only those who build on Christ will stand firm (Matthew 7:24–25). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, today is the day. (2 Corinthians 6:2) Jesus is calling you to trust Him as your Saviour and Lord.
Pray sincerely:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I confess You as my Lord and Saviour. From today, I choose to stand on You, the Rock of my salvation. Amen.”
Conclusion:
There is no other way to escape eternal condemnation except through Jesus Christ. He is the Rock that never fails, the foundation that never crumbles, and the Saviour who never turns away those who come to Him.
