Title: Sexual Immorality!

Scripture focus: Flee fornication(sexual immorality). Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1 Cor 6:18 KJV

Devotion: Culture says “follow your heart” and treats sexual immorality as a harmless personal choice. God’s word gives a protective, loving counter-view: your body and soul are sacred.
Paul told Corinth to “Flee sexual immorality..., because sexual sin is not only against oneself but against God. Since "Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. You were bought at a price. Honor God with your body” 1 Cor 6:18-20 and not use the body as we want. He says 'flee', because sexual immorality is enticing/tempting, that was why Joseph fled Genesis 39:12 (ran out from Potiphar's wife) he did not negotiate. Because sex bonds souls, not just bodies and can derail God's plan for the man or woman. Sex outside marriage’s covenant, scatters pieces of ourselves and carry regret God never intended for us.
Setting boundaries does not mean you are caged, boundaries are a fortress. Temptation looks sweet at first, but Solomon warned: “In the end she is bitter as wormwood” Prov 5:3-4. Instant gratification costs peace, clouds your relationship with God, and distorts how you see others.
If you’re struggling or carrying past regret, the Gospel isn’t condemnation, it is restoration. Your worth is set by the cross, not your past. Honoring God starts with daily surrender.
The bible teaches us to meditate in the word of God daily to remain free of immorality in Psalm 119:9 “How can a young person stay pure? By living according to your word”.
Pray: Father, forgive me for seeking comfort outside Your design. Remind me of my value in You. Give me strength to flee temptation and grace to walk in the purity You purchased. Amen.
