Title: Sow Bountifully and harvest Bountifully.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV.
Devotion: Paul was aware of the weakness of the Corinthian church so as evengelist he decided to forgo his rights to receive from the church, instead he earned his living. He used this as example of self sacrifice. (1 Cor 9: 1-15).
In 2 Corinthians 9:6 the bible says "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." Your giving should be generous because if you sow sparingly your harvest will be little but if you sow much your harvest will be plentiful. In nature, all things being equal, if you sow into twenty heaps you get back 20 tubers of yam and if you sow 200 you get 200 tubers of yam. So it is in the spiritual realm, the more time you put into Bible study the more knowledgeable you become, the more time invested in evangelism the more souls you'll harvest for God.
Let us not forget, all that we have God gave us, remember God's promise to bless your work. So look around you there are many hardworking people but are poorer than you. Sow bountifully into the life of the less privileged and God will bless your work bountifully and make you rich so that you will give again to the poor.
Remember God loves a cheerful giver, and He will reward you bountifully. (2 Cor 9: 7-9). Dearly beloved, what is your testimony on this? Do you give to others? Try it from a cheerful heart. Halleluyah.
