Title: Take part in the Great Commission!

‭Matthew‬ ‭9:37‭-‬38‬ ‭KJV‬
[37] Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; [38] Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Devotion: Jesus trained the disciples and sent them out to preach the word to the unbelievers of the time. He illustrated the enormity of the work using grain field full of ripe for harvest grains. The field was large but the workers were few and if urgent steps were not taken the farmer would lose most of his grain.
The farmer is God and the field is the world in which you and me live; just look around you you'll see many people who though bear Christian names yet know nothing about Jesus. They do not know, because nobody told them or took time to nurture them with the word to maturity so they go back into their past lives. There are regions of the world where preaching the gospel is totally forbidden and we must find a way to reach.
When Jesus was the departing he gave us the great commission to carry out on his behalf ie to continue the harvest till He -Jesus comes back( Mark 16:15). You who has been saved, what do you do with your free time? Do you go to watch football, play games or go drinking? There's nothing bad in enjoying your spare time but you can schedule your day in such a way to preach the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ for 30 minutes. Doing this twice a week is good.
There are different methods to use especially if you are shy, you can share tracts, share devotionals online to your contacts, give emotional support to your neighbours, be a shoulder to lean on when you meet someone overwhelmed with trouble. You can give financial support to an organization especially those who send missionaries to other places. May God teach us how to do His work in Jesus name.
Dear reader I urge you to get involved in the work of God and He will reward you abundantly in Jesus name. Hallelujah.
