Title : Chose prayerfully.

"It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman/man and in a wide house. Proverbs 25:24"
Devotion : People who are single desiring to get married must desire to live a peaceful, joyous life with a partner prayerfully chosen. There's no short route to fulfilled life than to have a lovely family. Only God can make it happen, that's why you must go on your knees and tell God to reveal your flesh of flesh and bone of bone to you. The God pattern can be found in Genesis 24: 12-14 (please read the whole chapter).  
The opening scripture explains that we marry "to be happy", but marriage could be our worst nightmare if we marry the wrong person and one will say it would have been better to enjoy singleness in the rooftop room than live miserably with a quarrelsome  and noisy partner in a big mansion. 
 Let us seek the guidance of God when choosing a life partner. 
 Dear reader, are you single or married? Meanwhile enjoy your status but make sure to chose your wife/husband prayerfully.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
