Title: Do You Know Your True Family?

“And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Matthew 12:49-50 (KJV)

Beloved, Jesus Christ was ministering to the people in His days when one of His disciples beckoned Him that His mother and brethren wanted to see Him. Jesus Christ did not rush to see them but made a profound statement, which is recorded in the opening scripture. Sometimes we exalt our biological family members more than people from different families (Matthew 13:55–58).

Beloved, Jesus Christ wants us to know that when we talk about family in the Kingdom of God, it is those who do the will of our heavenly Father (Mark 3:33–35). Dear beloved, any time you are looking for your true family, look for people who are doing the will of God so that you will also be influenced to do the will of God and be blessed. Praise the Lord! God bless you!

Prayer Point: My dear brother and Lord Jesus, thank You for enlightening me about who my true family is. I can now think beyond my biological family. Please lead me to find people who are doing Your will, for me to make them my family. I also pray for my biological family to be delighted in doing Your will. Amen!
