Title : Favor

"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22"

Devotion : The Favor of marriage is given to the man who finds a wife and not a woman. It is not every woman that can be a wife, therefore, the onus lies with the man to consult God to help him find a wife.        

  Furthermore, marriage was not created by God for everybody; that is why there are eunuchs or celibates. This favor which the man gets from God for finding a wife cannot lead to divorce but rather leads to stronger union, prosperity, peace etc. 

  Dear reader, are you looking forward to marriage? Ask God to guide you and be in obedience to the word of God. (Genesis ch 24: 1-end.) God bless you.

Devotion:  If you’ve ever gone on a trip somewhere you’ve never been, you know how important it is to have a map. Maps help us navigate the unknown areas ahead. Similarly, God’s Word helps us navigate through the unknown seasons of life. It reveals God’s wisdom, which can be essential in guiding our lives.  The book of Proverbs is filled with wisdom and knowledge that helps people live according to God’s purposes for their life.
