Title: May Your Understanding Be Enlightened!

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:18 (KJV)

Apostle Paul in his walk with the Lord had a good understanding in divine truth. He realized that what his converts lacked was understanding; therefore, he prayed for them (James 1:5–6). This prayer goes for you and me; may the eyes of our understanding be enlightened so that we may know the hope of God’s calling upon our lives. May we also know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in us, amen.

Beloved, if we know and understand these things, our walk with the Lord will be easy and devoid of unnecessary struggles. Dear beloved, continually pray the opening scripture until you have received this divine understanding because it is the key to your spiritual growth in Christ. When you understand your calling and the inheritance you have in Jesus Christ, you will begin to live a mature Christian life (Ephesians 4:13–15). Hallelujah! Glory to God!

Prayer Point: Precious Father, thank You for enlightening me by Your Word. Please enlighten the eyes of my heart to understand spiritual things, know the hope of my calling, and the wealth of Your glorious inheritance in me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
