Title : Learning to save

"There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. Proverbs 21:20"
Devotion : The scripture above gives a distinction between the wise and the fool; it gives one quality of the wise which the fool despises. This quality is the ability to save. The wise has a consistent habit of saving a portion of what he earns but the fool has a habit of spending everything he earns. Even when the fool is bequeathed with treasures he squanders it even to the extent of squandering what is not his. Dear reader, do you save part of your earnings and do you give to the needy?
What percentage of your income do you save? A simple approach is to save minimum of 15% of your income. No matter how small your income is, pay tithe first then save 15% before you spend the rest. Do not plan to save remnant it will not be enough.
Let's have your opinion and send your prayer request to this page. Stay blessed.
