Title: Another chance.

Genesis 17:1  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Devotion: you're joyfully welcome to 2022, it's a new year, the year of advancement and deliverance; it's a year of *another chance.* God is waiting for you and me, in Revelation 3:20  "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me".   It is a call to walk and be perfect before God so that everything we pursued to our detriment last year will be given us without sweet. Jesus says in Luke 12:31 "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you". Once more welcome to year 2022. Happy New year.   Share your testimony and views with us.   -JO.

Title: The hour is here.

So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Matt 24:33 Devotion:  The last few hours of 2021 is finally here but most still delay till last minute to get stuff for the kids. They are yet undecided. Long time ago a 16 year old son of my landlord said he would make ritual money at age 40 if he has not become legally rich by then. He planned to break the ritual at 60 so that he can return to serve God.  The question is does he know when he will be called home. Are you in same shoe waiting for the last minute before you make the decision for Christ, just as the last hours of 2021 is here so is the end of time for anyone is here.  It could be before 2022 that is hours away. Where will it meet you, oh your are waiting till 60 years of age. I pray it will not be too late for you. Dear reader is someone procrastinating near you? Share the word with him/her and lead him/her to Christ.    Happy New Year in advance, stay in Christ a...

Title: Possess your possession.

In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession. Lev. 25:13 (KJV) Devotion: Praise God, another year will end in less than 48 hours to God's glory you're alive. But you wonder how fast it was ending because you shouted happy new year recently. The targets were not met, surprised to you, yes, to me No!    To know the reason rewind the video of the outgoing year. Where's Jesus in the plan? The bible says in Luke 12:31 "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you". Were you diligent enough in your work both physical and spiritual? The bible says "For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence)," 2 Peter 1:5 AMPC. Did you add prudence? In Proverbs 8:12 the bible tell us that "I wisdom dwell with prudenc...

Title: The clock is ticking!

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 KJV. Devotion: The parable of the Ten Virgins is a good reminder to all of us that we ought to be prepared always just like what says Boy Scout's motto.    Another year will end in a few hours' time we will be happy and joyful. We will praise God (those of us who will attend church service to usher in the new year), but it will meet many in not too good places like hotels, brothels, street corners, sick bed, behind bars and some will even drop dead at that second.  But wait dear reader have you planned where to receive the new year? Are you a wise Virgin with oil Mat 25:4, or without oil in your vessel? Supposing He comes when you least expect, His coming will not be like new year which hour you know and prepare for, this coming I am writing about only God knows the date and time. Mat:24:36.  Does your garment have blemish? Praise God you still have grace to wash it...

Title: Live lowly or hide your success.

The prophet asked, “What did they see in your palace?” “They saw everything in my palace,” Hezekiah said. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.” 2 Kings 20:15 NIV Devotion: Praise God, it's a year end when we visit our towns and villages to celebrate yuletide and new year.  Many will like to show off their success, new cars, treasures in their beautiful houses, but they forget that they are very few among the poverty stricken citizens.  The poor has nothing to lose except his life so he can take risk to forcefully take from the rich. In the process some rich persons get killed.    Hezekiah showed foreigners the treasures of his palace and in few years time he lost all. Isaiah said to Hezekiah that "The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your predecessors have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the Lord . 2 Kings 20:17 NIV." This was fulfilled in 2 Kings 24:10...

Title : The devil's weapon

"And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; Deuteronomy 20:3" Devotion : There is an unceasing battle with the devil and his cohorts of darkness when a person becomes born again.  However, God Has armed His children to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. One of the weapons of the enemy is fear. To overcome fear is to have faith in God and in the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Never tremble, faint, be terrified of or fear the enemy because he has been defeated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.   James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."     Dear reader, do you sometimes get frightened? Don't fear but resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ and he will flee from you. God bless you.   Share your comments here! http://...

Title: Lousy giving.

But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matthew 6:3 ESV Devotion: Christmas time is time to share with the needy, Family and friends. It's celebrated today - BOXING DAY.  But do you give on radio and TV with paparazzi or quietly.   The reason you give with wide publication is pride, to let people know that you give. You expect pecuniary gain and you're rewarded here on earth.    Don't you know that in Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: *pride,* and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.  Therefore dear reader when you give today do it quietly and God will reward you openly.  Happy boxing day. If you have any concerns please let us know.      - JO

Title: Seek the LORD!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 ESV Devotion: Our saviour messiah Christ is born and He is eagerly waiting for you and me to seek him out just as the three Wise men did and their joy was full. What are you waiting for, seek Him and your joy will be full in Jesus name. Hallelujah! “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4 (KJV)   Beloved, one of the very important things that God wants us to do in life is to seek Him. He has left a vacuum in the heart of mankind that He alone can fill.    There are some who seek the LORD through wrong mediums. The only medium acceptable is to seek Him through His Word (Jeremiah 29:13). The Holy Scriptures reveal to us the nature of God.    In this dispensation, He has revealed His Word in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 1:14).  Dear beloved, your heart’s desire should be to know the Lord Jesus Chris...

Title: What did you give your neighbour?

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Matthew 2:11 NIV https://matthew.bible/matthew-2-11 Devotion: In continuation of our topic from yesterday, you have actually seen the Star, you have joy and that's great.  Praise God, what did you with the Joy, horde it?  This question is pertinent because our role model gave what they had, now what will you give to your neighbours? What do have? Rice or chicken, remember your neighbours too have it.    There's something you have or must have which is a scarce commodity these days, Christ. Remember you can only give what you have. Do you have Christ, yes! That's great, then give Him to your neighbours, visit them, tell them of Jesus in your discussion, let them know what He did for you or doing presently since you received him.  Let your neighbour know that Jesus can...

Title: Did you see the Star?

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Devotion: Compliments of the season, but wait let me ask you a question - did you see the Star?    Many of us are busy buying gifts, food stuffs and clothes and perhaps travelling to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Unfortunately many didn't see the Star because they are still living in the self, alive to self. Some saw the Star but failed to comprehend the essence of the season.  The Star brought joy unlimited to those who know and saw Jesus and believe in Him.   If you have not seen Jesus I urge you to diligently seek Him now so that your joy will be full and your gifts will be acceptable to Christ.   JO.

Topic: Minister The Good News appropriately.

John 20:21 “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” The dictionary states that to reconcile means to re-establish friendship between; to settle or resolve, as a dispute. The key to reconciliation is to effectively deal with the enmity, ill will, hatred, or hostility that caused the dispute, etc.  The enmity between man and God was sin. God took the initiative to remove this barrier through the means and agency of Jesus Christ, thus leaving man and God as friends once again.   We have received the ministry of reconciliation. That means we are in the ministry of reconciling people to God. Much of what people call the gospel today is actually alienating man from God. True, we need to show people their need for God to get them to receive His forgiveness and reconciliation, but the angry and bitter attitude some people have when confronting the sinner, is not correct.  Imputing people’s sins unto them was not the way Go...

Title: New life/world

Today's devotional is in the music by Myles Munroe. https://fb.watch/a0EbfAb1TW/ Our devotion for today. Please listen attentively and be blessed . Compliments of the season.

Title : Justified by faith

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1" Devotion : The justification in Christ Jesus is received by anybody who becomes born again.    It is an act of God to declare the sinner who has received Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior not guilty for his sins. It is just like a criminal who has been processed for court; he stands, without hope, before the judge, but to his surprise the judge declares him not guilty of his crime, acquitted, and discharges him.  Every Christian is seen by God as holy and not having committed sin at all, glory to God! This is the true gospel our Lord Jesus Christ brought to everyone who will believe.    Dear reader, have you committed any sin you think is unforgivable? Know that you have been justified, therefore just confess it to God and move on with your life in total obedience. That is why you have to repent and be converted (Acts 3:19), so that you will not go back into ...

Title: Is Your mind steadfast?

I will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Isaiah 26:3 AMP Devotion: Praise Lord, what a lovely father we have in God, He is ever ready to keep us in Peace both in the physical and spiritual. All we need to do is to be steadfast ie do not slack or backslide once we give our life to Christ. Dwell on His Word regularly, obey His commandments.  We must also trust Him and not the strength of our arms. We must demonstrate our trust in Him by praying and diligence in duty. Then leave the rest to God and see the goodness of God in the land of the living. You will have testimony before the year runs out in Jesus name. The key is: steadfast and trust. Try it and enjoy the peace of God that surpasses human understand in your home, business, carrier , education etc. Dear friend do you have peace? Share ...

Title : Cast Your Burden

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22" Devotion : The Psalmist had found an antidote to a burden-free life and wanted every reader to know about it. He said it is not our duty or responsibility to carry our burden; our burden carrier is the LORD of Hosts.  What we need to do on our part is to cast or lay the burden on the LORD. How? In prayers of faith, obedience and diligence in our duties.   Jesus Christ buttressed this in Matthew 11:28, when He said, "Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Truly the Lord does not want the righteous to suffer; He is ever ready to deliver us and sustain us.  Dear reader, do you believe that the Lord does not want you to suffer? Be blessed!  http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Unashamed of the Gospel

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16" Devotion : It is the duty of every believer in Christ Jesus to preach the gospel of our Lord. The apostle Paul is a vivid example of a Christian who was not ashamed of the gospel. He preached the gospel whether free or in bondage. He was stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, and imprisoned but he never complained and boldly declared his faith in our opening scripture.  No Christian has any excuse whatsoever for not preaching the gospel; if the apostle Paul could preach in such tough circumstances then no excuse is too good for Christ Jesus to accept or pardon. Remember preaching the gospel is the only instruction give to us by Jesus Christ before He ascended into heaven Mathew 28: 19-20. Therefore let us obey our Redeemer Jesus Christ. Dear reader, are you ashamed to preach the gospel? Do you know anybody who is ash...

CHOSE LIFE not DEATH

CHOSE LIFE not DEATH  The transport that I entered from Onitsha to Lagos in 2015... At Ore where we got down to eat, I base for one corner dey high my weed.. Driver came and was asking for 2 drags. I gave him sha, but I prayed before the journey continued. I shouldn't have given him, but if you're a stoner, you know the unwritten rule that says you never refuse another stoner... Plus I was sitting beside him and we had been chatting all through the journey.. From the moment we moved after he took the 2 drags, I knew I fucked up He was playing Osadebe on the stereo.. Where I knew that trouble had started was when he asked me "Nwanne ina fu ka ukwu osisi ndia si agba egwu" (My guy are you seeing the way the trees are dancing) I was like Dancing gini?? Oga please don't play rough play, focus on the road  I was high too, but when I realized the danger of the situation, my eye clear @ once! I started thinking of my family and my friends.. I had hundreds of porn videos,...

Title : Meeting Your Maker

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7" Devotion : The scripture above illustrates that there is an end to life on earth. The body returns to the earth and the spirit to God who gave it. Those who do not believe that there is another life after death should know that when life ends on earth the soul appears before God for judgment. For it is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).  Those who have the liberty to rejoice are the born again Christians who did not backslide because they have passed life on earth and have attained eternal life. They are judged for rewards but the unbeliever is judged unto damnation because he did not believe in Christ Jesus.  Let us live in this world with the mindset that one day we will give account to God for our stewardship. The almighty God has made Jesus Christ the Judge to judge the living and the dead.  Dear reader, nobod...

Title : Marriage Principle

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:25" Devotion : Husbands have been given greater responsibility to love their wives. The standard is to love them even as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. Any husband who does not love his wife to the point of death has not fulfilled the Word of God and should be prepared for the consequences.  A reasonable wife who enjoys the intense love of her husband will joyfully submit to her husband. Ephesians 5:22.  Many marriages are suffering today because of this simple principle of submission from the wife and love from the husband. People who do not understand this principle should not marry. Marriage is avoidable, it is not compulsory but needed to avoid sexual sins. May God help us.   Dear reader, do you wish to get married? Do you understand the basic principle of love and submission?  Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details...

Title: Put Satan to shame.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 NIV Devotion: Praise God for His word. Paul tells us in the verses above to be happy always so as to frustrate Satan. When Satan sees you happy he becomes confused because he cannot understand the source of your happiness.  But you must not relax in prayers, because devil does not relax he is tiredless looking for a way to make you sad but here you're happy and joyful. To confound devil's problem you need to pray regularly so that he cannot defeat you.  The next action to frustrate devil is to thank God in all situations either positive or negative. I remember I danced and sang a new song the day I lost my job and someone called me. I told him I just lost my job he was surprised that I was joyful and full of thanks.   Doing all three above confounds devil and makes God happy and you soon get rewarded by the Almighty God.  ...

Title : God's Hospitality

"Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11" Devotion : The opening scripture forms part of the song David sang to the Lord. David had realized the importance of seeking the Lord for His strength, in fact he had realized the benefits of the continual face seeking of the Lord.   The Apostles/followers of Christ also know the importance of praying without ceasing, in Acts 12:5 they prayed until Peter was released miraculously.   God is ever ready to host His children who call on Him; He is never weary or bored by His children.  God is very hospitable and receives everyone with open arms. There is nothing too little to speak to Him about; He is always ready to listen to us. Have you taken that your request to Him, He's waiting for you, that is why you must "Pray without ceasing" according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17   Dear reader, be encouraged to discuss everything on your mind with the Lord.   Share your thoughts here! http://play.g...

Title : Believe prophecies

"This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 1 Timothy 1:18" Devotion : The scripture says greater is he that prophesizes than he that speaks with tongues (1 Corinthians 14:5). The apostle Paul urged Timothy to pray fervently so that all the prophecies on his life could manifest. This explains why some prophecies do not come to pass. The fulfillment of prophecies is not automatic; the recipient must make a conscious effort to pray to see it come to pass. There are demons assigned by the devil to fight prophecies, so we must be on the alert to fight against them so our prophecies can materialize. Dear reader, have you received any prophecy from a Pastor or a servant of God? It is time to fervently pray to see it manifest, don't just write it off. Title : The substance of faith

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1" Devotion : A substance is something that can be seen and touched; faith should be viewed in that manner simply because God sees our faith. The evidence of our faith is the Word of God.  What do you desire, need, or want as a child of God? Look for the evidence of your need or desire in the Word of God.  In other words, have scriptures for every need or desire; pray with this evidence without any shadow of doubt, Mark 11:24, and you will receive the solution to your need.   Dear reader, do you have evidence for the things you are praying for? If you do then begin to rejoice for the solution and you will receive it physically.  Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : True Joy

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11" Devotion : There is only one place that the fullness of joy can be found: this place is the presence of God. In the old covenant the priest and the prophets were the only people who could come to the presence of God. However, in the new covenant the children of God are born into the presence of God.  This shows that as a child of God you can live in continuous joy if you fellowship with God by studying His Word and the Spirit of God.  God causes His children to will and do His good pleasure; this happens when the child of God has developed an obedient heart.  Doing the work of God brings JOY, in Ezra 3: 12-13, the children of Israel led by Ezra built the house of God that was ruined and people were _joyful._   Joy is also a fruit of the spirit reserved for the children of God only. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is ...

Title : CONSTANT

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8" Devotion : It has been established that the only thing that is constant is change. In other words, everything under heaven goes through a period of change.    However, everything in heaven does not change; Jesus Christ in heaven Gen1:26 He was the son (Amplified bible) and on earth does not change. He remains the Son of God forever: the same yesterday, and today, and forever. In John 1:1, 14  he was the word, now when you call on his name in prayer your problems are solved. Hallelujah Jesus lives forever.  This makes Jesus Christ relevant for all generations.  If you are reading this message and you don't have Jesus as Lord and Savior in your life, say "Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, I receive you into my life today as Lord and Savior, I am born again and I receive eternal life into my spirit, amen." God bless you.   Share your testimonies here! http://play.google....

Title : God is more than enough

"It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Psalm 18:32" Devotion : The scriptures above are loaded with so much for the believer in Christ Jesus.  If you need strength today, ask God for strength and He will also make your way perfect. If you need speed to work with, go to God for grace and He will place you at a high position.     He teaches us to fight the fight of faith and to win all our battles. In Psalms 18:34 David said "He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms" you can also say that if you stand firm in your believe.   He protects His children from backsliding and makes them great. He also keeps us from falling and enlarges our steps and coast just as He did for Jabez in 1  Chronicles 4:10   "And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, tha...

Title : Protocol

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 1 Corinthians 11:3"  *Devotion :*  The God we serve has laid down a chain of command that exists in His kingdom. This implies that the Father is the first in command, followed by Christ Jesus, followed by the man, and finally the woman.  If this chain of command is adhered to there will be peace in the fellowship we have with one another.  The law of God cannot be changed, it is sacrosanct, no modernity can change it that the head should become the tail, not riches or knowledge can change it.   But if any decides to choose his own chain of command then this proclamation by Moses "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" Deut. 30:19, may come to pass.   Dear reader, are you happy with w...

Title : Use the name JESUS to Defeat Foes

"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:15" Devotion : Jesus Christ died and was buried. He went to hell on our behalf and defeated the devil and his cohorts of darkness and made public show of them on the cross.  He demonstrated what was impossible with men and now has made it possible for believers in Him to continue to make public show of the devil and his cohorts of darkness by using the name of Jesus. At the mention of the name Jesus Christ of Nazareth, all knees bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.    Dear reader, do you want to triumph over everything? Then use the name of Jesus Christ. Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Young Man

"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalm 119:9" Devotion : Young men are people endowed with so much talent and energy that sometimes they do not know what to do with them and therefore abuse or misuse them.    The opening scripture instructs the youth to heed the Word of God. As a youth you must understand the word and be conversant with it so that it becomes part of you. That's why the psalmist says in Psalms 1:2  "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."  This is the only way to curtail the abuse of their gifts and talent and live a holy life.  If they heed the Word of God sin will be far from them, and they will not wander from the commandments or ways of God.     Dear reader, are you a youth? Then delight yourself in His statutes: do not forget His word. Psalm 119:16. If you are, then heed the Word of God and shun evil company. Psalm 1...

Title : Possibility with God

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27" Devotion : The big difference between man and God is demonstrated by the scripture above.   Man has many limitations but God has none. This scripture is teaching us to go beyond our limitations and trust God to do the impossible in our life. For instance, it is impossible for a virgin to be pregnant without a man but God made it possible so Jesus could be born.   All we need to do is to have faith in God for Him to do the impossible in our life. (We ask in faith, but must do the necessary to make the faith work eg a student who wants high grades after praying in faith must put in more effort than before).  Dear reader, what are we believing God for? What you need is faith.  Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline   I remember as a secondary school st...

Title : Little Children

"But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14" Devotion : The love of Christ Jesus is no respecter of persons; He loved everyone including the children. The disciple didn't know this until the scenario in Mark 10:14 occurred. Children can easily be ignored by adults for many reasons, but Jesus Christ has a special place for them. He said unless the kingdom of heaven is received like a child we will by no means enter it. The attitude of the child always acknowledges the parents or adults as knowing best, therefore the child receives a gift from the parents without any doubt or question whatsoever. Furthermore, children have the following qualities: forgiving, kind, obedient, humble, teachable, eager to learn, and completely trusting of their parents. These are the qualities God wants us to have so we can inherit His kingdom.  Dear reader, whi...

Title: He Thinks About Your Welfare!

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14 (KJV) Devotion: Jesus Christ is the gift for the whole world. He was given to the whole world so that the people in the world can be saved and prosper therewith (John 3:16). When He was born, the angel of the Lord came to deliver this good news to the shepherds in the fields. They gave glory to God and declared the peace and goodwill of God to humanity.    God cannot stop loving people because they are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).  Dear beloved, God cannot stop loving you. He has your goodwill at heart; He thinks about you and wants your life to be filled with peace. Just as the angel of the Lord gave glory to God, you must also endeavor to give glory to God for giving Jesus Christ to you. If you have Jesus Christ, you have everything because He is the heir of God, and you are the joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). The more you thank God for giving Jesus Christ to you, the...

Title : God's Faithfulness

"Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. Psalm 119:90" Devotion : The faithfulness of God cannot be questioned because it is evident for everyone to see in the scriptures. When man is faithless God remains faithful.    God was faithful with Adam and Eve even though they sinned against Him. God was also faithful with Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, etc. The names mentioned are from different generations, attesting to the fact that God's faithfulness extends to all generations.  In our present day, God is still faithful;  Even this morning, God is still Faithful to me, to you, to all who trust in him, because "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3: 22-23 He has been faithful to me and my family.    Dear reader, has God been faithful to you? YES. Share your testimony with ...

Title : Coming Together

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25" Devotion : There is a corporate anointing we receive any time we come together as believers in fellowship with our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the anointing Jesus prayed for the disciples that they may be one in Him.  This anointing causes us to love one another, create fellowship with one another, pray for one another, be kind toward one another, learn from one another, exhort one another, sympathize with one another, etc. Therefore, those Christians who neglect or forsake Christian fellowship are losing many benefits and will soon fall away from the faith.  Dear reader, do you enjoy Christian fellowship? Share your thoughts with other readers! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Charity from the heart

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13" Devotion : Faith, hope, and charity are important virtues of Christianity. By faith we believe that God exists, hope gives us expectation and drive to move on, and charity or love is a physical demonstration of an inner work.     Charity or love is the greatest, because through charity or love faith and hope makes sense to us. A very good example is the coming of Jesus Christ to the world to redeem man from sin; this is an outward manifestation of the love of God which makes sense of our faith and hope in God.    Dear reader, which of the three:faith, hope, and charity is the greatest? Title : Quick Response

"He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:15" Devotion : God has promised to respond quickly to His children. How beautiful to hear that from the almighty God! Our responsibility  is to love God, obey Him totally then call Him; those who do not call on Him with the scriptures will wallow in trouble, bondage, dishonor, short life, and sin. Why not call Him today and enjoy His answer, deliverance, honor, long life and salvation?  Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Take no Offence

"Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! Luke 17:1"  __AND [Jesus] said to His disciples, Temptations (snares, traps set to entice to sin) are sure to come, but woe to him by_ _or through whom they come!(amplified bible) Devotion : Jesus Christ noted that offences will come, but warns the one through whom it will come. He said the offender (tempter, the one who caused others to sin) will be severely punished.    This shows how much Jesus Christ loves His children; His children are so dear to Him that He does not want them to be offended (tempted, snared to sin )  Offences could lead to pain, hatred, discouragement, shyness, bitterness, etc.; therefore the Lord Jesus does not want to entertain them. Likewise, the children of God do not have to entertain offences. We need to pray against temptation as much as possible so believers can live in peace, joy, and love.   Dear reader, have ...

Title : Waiting renews us

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31" Devotion : The children of God have a way of renewing their strength: waiting on the Lord is the way to get a renewed vitalized strength.  Spending time with the Word of God and the Spirit of God in an atmosphere of prayer is waiting on the Lord; a purposeful fasting is another way to wait on the Lord.    In waiting we are asking God to take total control; as we do that He anoints us with new strength, new energy, new thoughts, new direction, new vision, etc.  Dear reader, how do you wait on the Lord? Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline I wait on the LORD in fasting and prayers.

Title: How to Fulfil Your Destiny!

“The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.” Habakkuk 3:19 (KJV) Beloved, the Father of all spirits is the creator of destinies. He creates destinies of the living (Genesis 1:26–30). If you become born again, your destiny is changed to conform to that of the Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13). The prophet Habakkuk came to know one thing—that if he makes the LORD his strength, the LORD will quicken his feet to fulfill his destiny on time.   Dear beloved, do you want to fulfill your destiny on time? If you do, then make the LORD your strength; let the Word of God be your everything (Colossians 3:16). Meditate on it day and night and confess the promises therein into your life. This will produce divine energy in you to move with supernatural speed and fulfill your destiny. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!   Prayer Point: My faithful and loving Father, tha...

Title : Rest in our Father

"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Hebrews 4:9" Devotion : The only people who have been promised true rest are the children of God.   The only place you can find rest is in Christ Jesus, for there is no rest for the wicked. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." The question I'll ask you is where are you? In Christ or in "christ", do you still visit the man of small gods?    In Hebrews 13:19, the bible says "But I beseech you rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner" and if restored to you, you will find rest. His promise is peace (rest) that is different from what devil gives. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  Dear reader, do you share the gospel? Please do so that at the appointed time you will rest just ...

Title : Trying Times

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4" Devotion : The Psalmist admitted that there are trying times as a child of God. He said in the midst of the trying times we should know that God is with us, therefore, fear has been defeated. The rod and staff of God is available to comfort us and punish our enemies.   That we are children of God do not mean there will not be afflictions but we are sure He will deliver us from all of them. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." Psalms 34:19.      Therefore whatever you may be going through right now be it financial problems, marital issues, sickness, loss of job or a loved one even children misbehaviour take it all to God and he will assist you out of the problems. For God says in Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will gi...

Title : The Creator

"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16" Devotion : The scripture above is describing Jesus Christ of Nazareth; He is the Word of God made flesh and dwelt among men (John 1:14). Allowing things indeed were made by Him and for Him.  This is more reason why people should find the need to be born again. When you are born again you are born of the Word and have access to the Word of God and you become joint heir with Christ.  As joint heir with Christ, what belongs to Jesus Christ belongs to you. Therefore, all things were made for believers in Christ Jesus. If this becomes your consciousness you will lack nothing.    Share your thoughts with other believers! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : A Bigger Reward

"After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Genesis 15:1" Devotion : The God of heaven and earth be blessed for possessing all knowledge and wisdom; He knew what Abram was going through - Abram had no child. He came to Abram at the point of need to encourage Abram to press on. He exhorted Abram not to fear because He was his faith, his shield, and his exceeding great reward.   Faith to overcome all doubt; shield to protect him from the enemy; exceeding great reward to meet all his needs. If you are born again you are the seed of Abraham and all the blessings mentioned by God are your inheritance.   Praise the Lord! Title : Pace Setter

"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Genesis 2:2" Devotion : God is such a good God; He is so transparent that He gives us good example to follow. He is indeed a PACE SETTER.  He created heaven and reshaped the earth in six days and rested on the seventh day. He rested not because He was tired and needed a rest but set a day aside so that man can rest and worship Him on that day.  A day that man can appreciate and adore Him. In the old covenant it was one day set aside to rest and worship God. However, in the new covenant everyday has been sanctified by the blood of Jesus to worship God. We are permitted to set a day aside to rest from our labour; we are not compelled to assign a specific day to worship God. This is the kind of liberty Jesus Christ Has given to the new creation through His blood.  The believer in Christ Jesus is encouraged to set time aside to fellowship with th...

Title : Seedtime and Harvest

"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22" Devotion : Is it not wonderful to hear this? Of course it is, there are things that remain on earth. Seedtime and harvest are two events that are in our power to readily control. If you ignore seedtime, don't expect a harvest; they go together. Our day to day activities comprise doing something that will bring us a harvest or doing nothing to reap no harvest.   The other elements such as cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night exist to enhance our seedtime and harvest. Dear reader, are you doing something useful that will give you a good harvest? http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : How to Pray

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9" Devotion : Jesus Christ did not want the disciples of his day and those of today to pray amiss so he gave a format for prayer.  1) First of all, you need to acknowledge God as your Father; meaning you need to have a personal relationship with him.  2) Secondly, worship and praise him, and welcome his presence.  3) Thirdly, ask his will to be done in your life as it is in heaven. 4) Fourthly, ask for your pressing need especially your daily provision.  5) Fifthly, forgive all who have wronged you and ask God to also forgive you for your sins. 6) Sixthly, pray for his power of deliverance from evil and temptation.   7) Finally, ascribe praise unto him.   When we about to pray we should have all these at the back of our mind, especially worship/praise, and thanksgiving before our request; as we do these in faith and receive in faith every prayer we mak...

Title : The Law and the Prophets

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12" Devotion : There is one thing that many people love about Jesus Christ of Nazareth; that is, His simplicity. He made things easy for his disciples. He has also made things easier for his disciples of today.  Instead of memorizing the law and the prophets, He said simply meditate on Matthew 7:12 and put it to work and you would have fulfilled all the law and the prophets.    The question is what do you want men to do to you? Do you want men to love you, respect you, give you chance, give you gifts etc? Even so do to them likewise. Do you want men to hate you, disrespect you, take away your chance, deny you gifts etc? Even so do to them likewise.  The world would have been a better place to live if everyone was living by this principle but unfortunately that is not the case.   Dear beloved, the choice is yours, however, be...

Title : Overcoming Temptation

"And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. Matthew 4:3" Devotion : The faithfulness of God allows every man to be tempted within his ability; therefore, God does not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to overcome. He provides a way for us in his Word to win over temptation, therefore, instead of complaining what one needs to do is to find that way of escape in the midst of the temptation. If you don't find it what do you do? What you do is to pray for God to show you that way of escape.   Quote the scripture above to him and He will give you an answer. He also gives us the grace to bear temptations just as He gave Jesus Christ the grace to endure and overcome his temptations.  We should also understand that God tests us but the devil tempts us. The intention of God in testing is to promote us but the intention of the devil in temptation is to discredit and run us down.  Dear beloved, what did lear...

Title : The Wise Man

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: Matthew 7:24" Devotion : God has a way of measuring who is wise and who is not wise; His criterion is based on who is obedient to his Word. Those who are doing his Word are referred to as wise and those who are not doing his Word are referred to as simple or foolish.  Doing the Word has good reward but disobedience to his Word has just punishment. The one who hears the Word and does it is building his/her life on the rock and the one who hears the Word and ignores it is building his/her life on the sand.  Both builders are tested by the rain, flood, and wind. The one who built on the rock stood the test; in fact it was not shaken by the rain, flood, and the wind. The one who built on the sand fell and great was the fall.  Now those who take advantage of the grace of God to do the Word of God are prepared to withstand the pressures of lif...

Title : Straight Gate

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matthew 7:13" Devotion : Jesus made it clear according to the opening scripture that there are only two gates in the world: one leading to eternal life and the other leading to destruction. The names of the gates are straight/narrow gate and broad/wide gate.  The straight gate represents Jesus Christ and the broad gate represents the devil. Entering the narrow gate is asking Jesus Christ to be Lord and Saviour of your life and making diligent effort to follow him.  The straight gate consists in discipline, holiness, submission, love and obedience to God's Word. Due to the nature of the narrow gate many people avoid it because they want to live as they please.   On the other hand, the broad gate consists in indiscipline, selfishness, sins, and the pleasures of this world. Many people choose the wide gate because of the cares and ...

Title : Better than Fowls

"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:26" Devotion : When our Lord Jesus Christ asked us to behold the fowls of the air, we must go out there and behold them and know how they are fed by our heavenly Father.  Birds and other animals indeed do not sow, reap or gather into barns and yet they are fed by God. However, we who are created in the image of God are worried by what to eat and other material things.  Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to understand how animals are fed so that we can stop worries and anxieties in our life. Our Lord also wants us to know that we were made better than animals and have more value than they are. If we believe that he can meet our needs then he will do according to His riches by Christ Jesus.  Dear beloved, any time you are attacked by the enemy to worry declare these words to yourself, "I am better than t...

Title : Key of the Kingdom

"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3" Devotion : Jesus Christ has made a profound statement worthy of meditation. Except every person who calls himself/herself a Christian is converted and become as little child he/she will not enter into the kingdom of heaven. What could Jesus mean?  Let us look at the qualities of little children. They are dependent on their parents, honest, forgiving and forgetful, trust their parents, accept whatever their parents give them, teachable, and obedient. Likewise Christians who are truly converted are dependent on Jesus Christ, honest, forgiving and forgetful, trust God, accept what God gives them, run to God for answers, teachable, and obedient.   Dear beloved, are you truly converted as a little child? Title : Teaching His Word

"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20" Devotion : In some parts of the world teaching is relegated to the background and teachers are despised and not given the place they deserve. The kingdom of God on the other hand holds in high esteem teachers of God's Word. Teaching God's Word is elevated above all things; this has been highlighted by the opening scripture.  In fact Jesus Christ commanded new converts be taught God's Word so they would grow to maturity in Christ's doctrine. Without teachers the Word of God cannot be passed from one generation to the next and this could pose a great danger to the spread of the gospel of Christ Jesus.  He further exhorted the teachers that He was with them even to the end of the world.  It is a privilege to be called to teach the Word of God and those called to do it should do it with passion and love.  Dear bel...

Title : Fear God

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28" Devotion : The opening scripture throws light on who we are to fear; Jesus Christ exhorted his disciples on many occasions to fear not but on this occasion pointed out who they are to fear. The body is predisposed to various attacks from the devil and his cohorts of darkness but the soul is out of their reach. The only person who has access to both the soul and the body is God; He is the creator of the soul and the body and has power to destroy both in hell.    Therefore, the deceived who think hell is a myth should understand that hell is real and God has the ability to destroy them in hell if they don't repent from their sins and make Jesus Christ their Lord.        Let us fear God and obey His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man, Ecclesiastes 12:13. God bless you. http://play.google...

Title : Jesus is willing

"And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:3" Devotion : The leper met Jesus Christ when He had come down from the mountain and made a humble request from the Lord. The response from the Lord Jesus Christ signifies the willingness of the Lord to answer our request if it is made from a humble sincere heart.   See how humble the Leper was as demonstrated in his request (prayer) to Jesus - "And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean". Matthew 8:2. He worshiped Jesus also; we also as children of God must come before God in humility and worship him before laying out prayer requests before him.    He touched the leper and said, "I will" and healed him. He also demonstrated that we should not be afraid to touch the sick to pray for them.  Dear reader, kindly know that the Lord is always willing to attend to your req...

Title : Never doubt God.

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11" Devotion : Jesus Christ is indeed God; He could discern the mind of his audience and made the remarkable statement above. He said God, our Father, is able to give us much more than what we give our children.  This should encourage someone to pray without ceasing. We should never doubt God because Jesus has given us a scripture to the effect that God is ever willing to give us what He has promised in His Word. Jesus told us how to ask - He says ask in my name and I will give you John 14:14. We must also ask with the right motive and not for selfish ambition or to oppress. Apostle James told us "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts". James 4:3  Jesus Christ has also revealed by the scripture above that God only gives good things to His children. ...

Title: Your Security Is Assured!

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Psalms 91:11-12 (KJV) Beloved, the kind of security you have determines the kind of protection you have. The security of the child of God is the most powerful and most potent of all securities in the world. Angels are spirit beings and servants of the Most High God. They are very powerful compared to human beings. When a person becomes born again, God dispatches angels to protect that person and to serve him (Hebrews 1:14). Beloved, the Christian is an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ and thus has access to angelic ministry (Romans 8:17). You can command your angels to work for you. As a matter of fact, give them work to do by instructing them on a daily basis so that they can bring you good tidings. You have all the help and protection you need; therefore, do not fear, but be conscious of what you have and use it. Prais...

Title: You Can Overcome Sin!

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14 (KJV) Beloved, there are some children of God who are still struggling against sin. They make all manner of funny excuses for the indulgence of sin, and they have made it difficult for themselves to overcome sin. As a child of God, it is easy to overcome sin. Those who lived under the Old Testament could not overcome sin because they were not born again and thus were under the law. No matter how hard they tried, they found themselves breaking the law (Hebrews 8:7–13). In the New Testament, it is easy to overcome sin because Jesus overcame sin for us and gave us grace to continually win over sin (Romans 6:1–end).   Thus, when you are born again, you have the DNA(Holy Spirit) of the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in you, therefore, sin shall not have dominion over you. Beloved, now that you are a child of God, know your position in Christ—that you have been called unto virtue...

Title : Honour Your Government.

"They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. Matthew 22:21" Devotion : The Pharisees wanted to entangle Jesus Christ with matters of the law regarding taxes but Jesus was smarter than they could ever think. He told them to pay their taxes and also give God His due. A lot of people these days misinterpret this scripture, especially those who are not born again. One musician was asked why he mixed gospel songs with his circular music and he quoted the scripture above; this is a misuse or misinterpreting the scripture. Dear reader, do you honour your government by paying taxes or you evade them? Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title: God Is Not Tired of You!

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9 (KJV) Beloved, the opening scripture gives a picture of God asking Joshua again to put himself together and work on what He had commanded him to do. Joshua was so overwhelmed with the demise of Moses that he had to be encouraged on more than one occasion to take up the leadership mantle and lead the children of God to the promised land (Joshua 1:2, 6, 9). Dear beloved, God is not tired of you, and neither has He given up on you. Just as He was with Joshua, He will be with you. Joshua finally took the encouragement of God, put himself together, and acted on God’s Word. The good news is that he was able to lead the children of God to the promised land (Joshua 3:17). You too can do the same as a leader or potential leader of God’s people, be it in the church or in society. Have an open mind and attentive spir...

Title : Beware

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15" Devotion : One of the signs of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is the emergence of false prophets. In fact they will be so many that the love of many will grow cold, especially those who become victims of such false prophets.   It is our duty to identify the false prophet using the Word of God; (meaning we must read and understand the scriptures thoroughly psalm 119 : 48, 78, 148 etc) scripture says by their fruits we shall know them.  Let us use the Word of God to check their conducts, actions, preaching, speeches etc and we will know whether they are false prophets or true prophets. Once they introduce something non scriptural you know they are false prophets. (Do not argue just leave for a Bible teaching church).   Dear reader, have you ever been a victim to any false prophet? http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible....

Title: Are You Prepared for His Coming?

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:” Matthew 25:31 (KJV) Beloved, the Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is at hand. All the signs that will precede His coming have been fulfilled. What we are left with is for Him to show up in His glory with His holy angels.    The question is, are you prepared for His coming? He is definitely going to come, and as a child of God, it will be a shame to miss His coming; therefore - Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh, Matthew 25:13 and abound in the work of the ministry of Christ Jesus. Beloved, don’t take church attendance for granted. Be at church meetings, saturate yourself with the Word of God, pray without ceasing, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit continually, and you will not miss the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:25; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). That day you will be...

Title : Two masters

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24"  *Devotion :* When Jesus Christ used the word "serve" He used to represent total devotion. In other words, no one can be totally devoted to two masters.    Due to personal differences, he will be drawn to one than the other; hence love one and hate the other. God and mammon or worldly riches are two different masters; you cannot choose both since God demands full devotion to Him, spirit, soul, and body.    Jesus Christ said what shall it profit a man if you gain the whole world and lose your soul. It means if you are given the opportunity to choose, choose to serve God. Dear reader, if you have the opportunity to make a choice between serving God and worldly riches, what will you choose?    I will choose the kingdom of God and His righteousness first then I know as he p...

Title : Jesus Preached

"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17" Devotion : Jesus Christ being the author and the finisher of our faith led the way to preach the gospel about the kingdom of heaven. Christians are therefore obliged to preach the gospel since they are the heir of salvation.    Angels cannot preach the gospel because they were not bought by the blood of Jesus.  The world need to know that the only way to inherit the kingdom of heaven is to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour.  Mathew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.   Dear reader, do you preach the gospel? Congratulations if you do because you a following the example of Jesus Christ and you will be rewarded. God bless you. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : All Power

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18" Devotion : Jesus Christ assured His disciples not to be afraid for all power has been given to Him. All this power has been given to the church of which every born again Christian is a member. Therefore, the believer has all power in heaven and in earth because as Jesus is so are we in this world, 1 John4:17. Dear reader, do you doubt the power in you? Use the power in you to get things done. Kindly write your views in the personal notes section! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title: Give Attention to Children!

“But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14 (KJV)   Devotion: Jesus Christ was teaching the people on the coast of Judea when mothers sought Him so that He could bless their children. The disciples prevented them, but Jesus Christ intervened, showing displeasure at what the disciples did. He took the children and blessed them.    Beloved, Jesus gave attention to all who sought Him, including children. We should draw lessons from what Jesus Christ did and draw children close to us (Proverbs 29:15). Beloved, children are the future leaders of every society, and therefore we must give them their proper place. We should have time for them, train them, bless them, and prepare them for the future that is ahead of them.   When we train them in the way they should go, they will not depart from it; they will grow up and become the artisans, d...

Title : Faithful Servant

"His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:23" Devotion : Our Lord Jesus Christ made a remarkable statement here: well done, good and faithful servant. He exhorts us to be good and faithful servants over the little He has given to us.  When we appreciate and use the little He has given to us, He will give increase to our harvest. In the end He will make us rulers over many things and enter His joy.    Dear reader, what has the Lord Jesus Christ committed to your care? Try the best you can to be faithful with it, desist from comparing it to others and He will honor you. God bless you. Title : Your Light

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16" Devotion : Light is an essential element in heaven and on earth. It reveals whatever has been covered by darkness; it gives our eyes the ability to see.   In other words, the earth is full of light because of the children of light. Our light is our good works. These includes good character, faithfulness, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, charity, demonstrating the power of God etc.    When people see these or benefit from them, they will surely glorify the Father in heaven.    Dear reader, how are you lighting your world? http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title: Do You Dwell in Love!

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16 (KJV) Love is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as a strong feeling of affection; it is also a great interest and pleasure in something.    The Bible’s definition of love goes beyond affection and interest in something—it is giving to others your time, attention, money, energy, etc. In other words, going beyond yourself to satisfy a need in the life of someone is the love of God.   Beloved, the greatest demonstration of love is what Jesus Christ did for mankind. He sacrificed His life for the sin of mankind (John 19:30). As a child of God, the love of God in you is seen when you sacrifice for others your time, money, energy, attention, counsel, etc.   When you meet the needs in the life of others, you will draw them closer to Christ Jesus; even if they are not born again, they will inquire of the God you serve, and you w...

Title : Full Assurance

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7" Devotion : Jesus Christ has given us his full assurance that any time we apply the principle of asking, seeking, and knocking, we will surely get answers. In this regard, God always says, "yes" to our requests when they fall in line with asking, seeking, and knocking. If we do not ask "amiss" ie for selfish use or to oppress -James 4:3 then we receive.  Dear reader, what do you want God to do for you? Apply the principle of asking, seeking, and knocking. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Doing Good, How?

"But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Matthew 6:3" Devotion : It is a good thing to give alms, Jesus Christ said it is more blessed to give than to receive. Giving in secret is giving to God. If we give and announce it to the world, we are drawing attention to ourselves; and you will have no reward from God. However, when you give in secret you lend to God and God who sees in secret will reward you openly. The most high wants us to draw attention to Jesus Christ. In the kingdom of God we praise others and allow others to praise us. Also when we give alms we should expect the blessing from God and not to expect the receivers to give in return. Let us learn to give alms the right way and we will receive abundant blessings from God. God bless you. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Extra mile

Good morning, thank you for your prayers and kind words yesterday. stay blessed.   "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44" Devotion : Jesus Christ brought a new and better order for us to follow. It is quite normal to hate your enemies, curse those who curse you, avoid those who hate you, and despise those who despitefully use and persecute you. But Jesus said to get a better and lasting result we need to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute us. Jesus Christ himself is a good example of his own words when he prayed for those who crucified him on the cross. Dear reader, do you want to go the extra mile for greater blessings? Then consider the above scripture! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Choose Love over Hatred!

It's my birthday today, so I decided to:  Title: Choose Love Over Hatred. “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.” Proverbs 10:12 (KJV) Beloved, the New International Version quotes the opening scripture as “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.”  Hatred is an intense dislike toward someone or thing. Love, on the other hand, is a strong feeling of affection toward someone or thing. Hatred and love do not move together; in other words, you either choose to hate or choose to love.  This is the choice the children of God must make in their relationship with God and their fellow brethren.   Beloved, when we choose to hate, we become a tool in the hand of the devil and his demons, to cause strife and conflicts among the brethren, disturbing the peace that we are to enjoy with one another. On other hand, when we choose love, we cover all sins and wrongs because we become a vessel in the hand of God to do good to all men, especially tho...

Title : Seek first

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33" Devotion : Jesus Christ is the true Son of God; He knows every detail of what pertains to the kingdom of God. He said as children of God we should seek the welfare of the kingdom of God: love God and His Word, be concern about His kingdom and avail ourselves for Him to use; being righteous is simply being like Jesus Christ of Nazareth. As we become kingdom minded, He said the houses, degrees, cars, family, money etc shall be added. In fact, they shall be a bonus package of life in His kingdom. What do you need in life as a child of God or a man without Christ? The key is, seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title: God’s Promise Is Sure!

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4 (KJV) Beloved, the world has not been at peace ever since mankind sinned in the person of Adam and Eve. The sin gave birth to pain, disease, suffering, wars, hunger, and, ultimately, the loss of power to the adversary called the devil.    Thanks be to God for sending Jesus Christ to defeat the devil and give the power that man lost to the church (Luke 10:19, Ephesians 1:22–23).  Even though the church has the power to overcome all pain, disease, suffering, and even death, due to ignorance of the Scriptures, many Christians have not taken advantage of the power they have. Such Christians may die in their misery and go to heaven.   Beloved, in heaven there is no sorrow, no death, and no crying because God will wipe away all tears and comfort the saints.   Dear...

Title : Simplify

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12" Devotion : Some people spend their whole life and time memorizing the law and the prophets. This is good but Jesus Christ came to make it better; He put the law and the prophets in just a sentence. In simple terms, if you want others to treat you well be the first to treat them well; if you want evil to be your lot then keep perpetuating evil. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Faith as seed

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20" Devotion : Jesus Christ compared faith to seed; it therefore means that for our faith to grow to maturity we must plant it, that is, we must use it. No matter how tiny our faith is, when we use it we will see the result. Jesus Christ is delighted to see His children living in faith.  You can demonstrate your faith by fasting and prayers and believe that God will answer your prayers. Remember He said "ask you shall receive, seek you shall find and knock it shall be opened unto you" Mathew 7: 7. If you truly believe and did not ask for sinful purposes then God will answer.  Stay focused and keep growing daily in faith. Stay safe and blessed.   Dear reader, to what extent have you been using your faith? Shar...

Title : Shine

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16" Devotion : Jesus Christ is the light of the world and when He comes into your life, He transforms you into light for the world.   No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. Luke 11:33  No wonder He says let your light so shine.  It is the responsibility of the Christian to show forth all the good virtues that Christ Has planted in him or her.    The life style of the believer in Christ Jesus is the bible being read by the world and as they see the good works, they will definitely give God the glory.    Do you believe that you are the light of the world? http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title: Your Enemy Cannot Defeat You!

“For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.” Psalms 61:3 (KJV) An enemy is simply someone who is seeking to injure, overthrow, or confound you. There are several of them that are waging war against the children of God. These include the devil and his cohorts of darkness. Beloved, there are enemies in the church as well as our household (Matthew 10:36). Beloved, the dangerous enemies are those in our household because they know us too well to destroy us. However, God is wiser than our enemies; therefore, He is a shelter for us and a strong tower against our enemies. This should call for celebration because we are serving a living God who has put all our enemies to shame (Colossians 2:15). Dear beloved, serve God faithfully so that all the different kinds of enemies fighting against you will continually bow before you and be bread for you (Numbers 14:9). Hallelujah! You are an overcomer! Prayer Point: LORD of Hosts, thank You for being a shelter for me and a ...
