Title: Be Humble.

if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
Devotion: When a person sins and begs for forgiveness he's forgiven and life moves on. The Israelites, the chosen of God often sinned and got punished and when sober, they seek forgiveness and God always forgive them.
The verse above came up in one of such times when Israel sinned but they were not deterred until Jesus came to give his Life for the sin of the tribe of Israel and by extension you and me. In the present generation people do a lot of evil things without bathing an eye and even behave as if it was rightful act.
Paul also emphasized on sin in his letter to Romans when he asked " What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" (Romans 6:1-2) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
Therefore one can safely conclude that God does not like sin and will forgive any sinner that asks for forgiveness but it is not a license to go back to sin again and again.
