Title: Confess and Repent!

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16 KJV
Devotion: The age we live in is full of deceit, couples live under same roof without actually knowing each other, parents don't even really know what their children do at school, yeah it is that bad. 
In the teaching of James this morning we are told to confess our fault one to another, come out in the open before your partner, your parents or friend and seek for forgiveness. Then whatever you and your friend or spouse ask from God you'll easily get.
You cannot be in sin and think that grace will continue to abound it is just not possible. (Romans 6:1  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?) If grace will not abound when in deliberate sin and you refuse to confess and repent then your prayers will not be effective and will not do much. Therefore next time you pray and do not receive check yourself, ask, am I living right with God and my fellow human. If not confess and repent.
