Devotion: A soujouner endures hardships on the way because he knows that when he gets home he will rest and enjoy. I read the story of a 19 year old who embarked on bicycle world tour. He narrated his experience in 20 different countries, in some places he endured hunger, loneliness, sleeplessness and breakdown. He endured lack of financial ability for a short period; he did all because he had a target.
 We are all sourjourners here on planet earth and must return to our home one day. Your endurance here will determine which home you are going. There are two homes, the first is with Satan, the father of deceit, he encourages you to cut corners, he tells you there's no need to endure that there's nowhere you're going, that everything ends here on earth. Do what you like, live your life to the full, drink, womanize, cheat etc; his home is in Hell.
 The second home is heaven where there's joy everlasting and no stress but you must endure some form of hardship here, and you cannot do what the children of damnation do. Jesus promised to prepare a place those who believe and endure in His father's house. John 14:4. 
The choice is yours, you can enjoy here for 70 years or a little more or endure here for 70+ years and gain everlasting happiness. No matter how long you live here you will live in Hell or Heaven for eternity. I urge you to make the right choice and give your life to Christ today. Testimonies await you in Jesus name. Hallelujah.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
