Title: The Nation of God!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:9‭-‬10 KJV

Devotion: We, Christians if we can trace our genealogy and ancestral history will know that most of them were idol worshipers. We have been called out of this into the family of God through Christ Jesus who gave His life so that we may become children of God, co-heirs with Jesus. 

 We should be grateful for this immense grace and be thankful all the time. When we look back or read the story of nonbelievers and understand what they go through then we have to thank God who gives us citizenship. There's is no room for pride because once upon a time we were not allowed into citizenship of God, not regarded as a people. We did not achieve this by ourselves but by grace, so no room for pride.

 Now that we belong to God we should rather work to bring in more people into the kingdom of God because that is what we are called to do. He who has been saved should rise up to save another. 

 Dearly beloved let's not forget the great commission, Matt 28:19 it is the only assignment to which you and me are called. May God help us to do His work. Hallelujah.
