Title: Christ in You!
Micah 6:8 KJV
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Devotion:
- "To do justly": This means to live a life of moral integrity, being fair and honest in all interactions, and standing up for what is right.
- "To love mercy": This means to show compassion, kindness, and empathy towards others, especially those in need.
- "To walk humbly with thy God": This means to have a humble and reverent relationship with God, recognizing one's place in the grand scheme of things and submitting to His will.
In essence, the verse is saying that God doesn't require grand sacrifices or elaborate rituals, but rather a life of simple, genuine devotion and moral character.
Let's is try to examine our lives, how do we relate with people around us, our equals, people below us and strangers. Many times we try to show off and go into overdo just so that people will praise us. So people will recoil into their shell like a snail, they keep what they have. Such people find it difficult to share with others.
God calls on you and me this day to live practical life, to let people see Christ in us by our actions. We must know that many people do not read the Bible again, they prefer to monitor us who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We must therefore demonstrate the Christ in us by our humility, justice, love, mercy and kindness. The Lord help you and me in doing this in Jesus' name. Hallelujah.
