Title: Death to sin, Life in Christ.

Romans 8:6 KJV says, "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

Devotion:

Being carnally minded means indulging in fleshly desires and sinful behaviors, leading to separation from God and spiritual death. In contrast, being spiritually minded means living for Christ, abstaining from sin, and experiencing life and peace.

To achieve this spiritual mindset, we must:

- Give our lives to Christ
- Study the Bible regularly
- Be filled with the Holy Spirit

With the Holy Spirit's guidance, we can abstain from sin and live a life dead to sin and alive in Christ. Take a moment to reflect: are you living for Christ and dead to sin, or are you still trapped in sinful living? If so, come back to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
