Title: Which vessel are you?
"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Timothy 2:21"
Devotion : My mom and women of her generation have an extensive collection of enamelware in various sizes and colors. While some pieces are used regularly, others are reserved for special purposes, such as for my dad's use or to serve esteemed guests on special occasions, highlighting the significance and value attached to these items.
In a great house, there are vessels made of gold, silver, wood, and clay. Some vessels are placed in prominent places of honor, and others are placed where they can be easily reached for ordinary use. In the same way, in the house of God, there are many vessels, which represent the children of God. Some are placed in prominent and vital positions and others in ordinary positions.
However, there is room for promotion, which comes to those who will work on themselves and distinguish themselves. They must set themselves apart, refrain from all ungodliness and unrighteousness, prepare themselves with the Word of God, and be ready at all times when the Lord needs them. These will be promoted from their ordinary position to a place of honor. Dear beloved, do you want to be promoted to a place of honor?
