Title: You Can Enjoy Peace in Christ.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. ‭Hebrews 4:9 KJV‬
Devotion: The pursuit of success and rest is a lifelong journey. From childhood, we strive to achieve our goals, working hard and seeking prosperity. While some find rest in their accomplishments, others continue to labor, seeking a sense of peace and fulfillment. But true rest comes from God alone (Psalm 32:8). The book of Hebrews reminds us that there remains a Sabbath-rest for God's people (Hebrews 4:9), a spiritual rest that transcends external circumstances. 
Through faith and trust in God, we can experience a deep and lasting rest for our souls, a precursor to the eternal rest to come (Revelation 14:13). This Sabbath-rest is a gift from God, not earned by our efforts (Colossians 2:17). As you reflect on Hebrews 4:9, consider how you can fully enter God's rest in your daily life. How can you release your burdens and anxieties, trusting in God's promise of true rest and peace?

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
