Title: The Everlasting God.

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. Isaiah 40:28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.40.28.KJV Devotion: Every humans are prone to be tired or weary at some point in life. It could be due to fatigue of work, exhaustion from intellectual job or other circumstances. We just say I'm fed up and some will give up totally, sometimes we just take a nap and at other times we go on vacation. When we return we are fired up to continue.    But God is eternal, he never gives up, nevery weary or fatigued; as He was before the earth was created by Him so He is now and will be in ages to come. He never takes vacation He's always there no matter the situation God changes not.   He is like the burning bush which though was burning but the grass did not burn out because the source of fire is God (Exodus 3 vs 2). You can get to that l...

Title: The King of Glory!

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Psalm 24:10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.24.10.KJV Devotion: In the world today there are several units ruled by men who call themselves kings, chiefs, presidents, prime minsters etc. But none of them have authority over all the earth and none can give life, bring about changed in weather condition, establish great mountains, none of the so called kings can safe mankind from catastrophy except God of heaven.   There's non comparable with God our God who created the awesome oceans, the sky and filled it with billions upon billions of stars and they never collide. Then open the doors of your heart to Him, he will come and fill the vacuum in your heart and you'll forever become the son of God. He will abide with you and sustain you in Him. You will not remain the same again. T...

Title: Let No Cursing Come from Your Mouth.

As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. Psalms 109:17 KJV Devotion: Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue; we will eat the fruit of our words one day. As the opening scripture shows, it is dangerous to speak curses and hate what is a blessing, for that will come back to us one day. Self-criticizing words, words of fear and doubt, and all other negativity can actually hinder God’s blessings in our lives. Beloved, may you rise up more powerful and prosperous than before! As you have now come to know the value and importance of words, even idle words, may you only speak of blessings and the goodness of God and words that bring life! May you witness the power of God moving in areas that need revival and breakthrough in your marriage, families, cities, etc. as you constantly declare His Word! Be powerful! Hallelujah! Prayer point: My God, the Blesser and Giver of all good things, I praise You ...

Title: The Sin of the Tongue!

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. Psalms 39:1 KJV The enemy uses people to cause your tongue to sin. When you don’t watch your emotions, the thoughts run around in your head, and you don’t rein in your tongue when you are faced with a challenging person. It’s easy to lash out in anger and say things that shouldn’t be said or words that can’t be undone. That is why we are told to be quick to hear and slow to speak (James 1:19). Beloved, it is wise to imitate what King David did when he was with a wicked person. He watched over his ways and made sure his tongue was kept sealed so that he wouldn't sin. You know which people are the ones the enemy is using against you to tempt you and trigger you. Keep watch on your ways when they approach you, put on the whole armor of God, and bridle your tongue. You are an overcomer! Prayer point: Abba Father, thank You for Your guiding words and wis...

Title: The Holy Spirit!

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.14.26.KJV Devotion: When we give our lives to Christ and obey God's commandments the Holy Spirit is near to us. When we now pray and ask God for it with pious mind them we have Holy Spirit in us. It can manifest by speaking in tongues but it may not.   You need to request for the Spirit daily because it is like petrol in your car, it goes away unannounced and if care is not taken you may not know and when you need it urgently it may not be there. What drives it away are profanity, prayerlessness and sin.   The Holy Spirit is the quiet and gentle inner voice that tells us to do what Christ would do in a given situation. The Holy Spirit will lead us to pray for someone who despitefully use us, it tells us to avoid profanity. It tells us to ...

Title: The Day of the Lord!

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; Joel 2:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jol.2.1.KJV Devotion: The Day of the Lord is a special day that bring condemnation to evil and peace and joy to the righteous. When Israel was delivered from bondage in Egypt and Pharaoh perished in the sea it was the day of the Lord.   Israel was taken into captivity in Babylon when the King released them and they came home. Ezra read the book of history to the Israelites and they confessed and mourned for their sin it was another day of the Lord. Sin was defeated. They soon lapsed into sin and continued in it. When Jesus Christ the messiah was born it was the day of the Lord, he suffered death of the cross so that all who believe in him will not be guilty but will be saved. He defeated death and evil was put to shame. His resurrection and ascension to heaven is another ...
